The palate is complex with ripe integrated tannins that persist in the mouth for some time. Drink now or cellar for 10 years plus.

Fruit for this wine was handpicked from the single vineyard site “The Gate” at the entrance of our Yarra Valley property. These vines are planted on a gentle slope facing north-west aspect producing favorable growing conditions.
Wine is aged in new and seasoned French oak barrels for 12 months.

Aged in large format French oak for 12 months. A medium cherry red. Aromas of blackberries, cassis, dried herbs and cedary oak. Forward and very ripe, this approachable drink-now wine finishes sweet and reasonably long. Drink by 2025.
