The fruit is estate grown from the Belaradah vineyard. Harvested mid April – the fruit is whole berry destemmed to barrel where it is fermented and sat on skins for up to 10 months .
This aided in softening and developing the tannins for which Nebbiolo is famous.

The inaugural release but it’s unclear why this is a Riserva. It is left on skins for 10 months, unsulphured then pressed with 5% cabernet to seasoned oak and aged 1 year.
The volatile acidity might be too much for some, but it does lift the aromatics of wild strawberries, cherries and pips. It seems to be missing shape and flavour, as the palate is driven by acidity rather than the slightly sinewy and astringent tannins.
